ATEX Certification (Europe)
Applus+ QPS is an ATEX Notified Body in Europe (NB 2876), authorized to conduct conformity assessment under Directive 2014/34/EU. We certify electrical and non-electrical equipment, components, and protective systems for marketing within the European Union.

UKCA Certification
For the UK market, the CE marking (ATEX) remains valid as the mandatory introduction of the UKCA mark for Ex products has been indefinitely postponed. Applus+ QPS supports continued access to Great Britain using ATEX certification services.
Applus+ is also accredited as a UK Approved Body (No. 8508) able to certify Ex equipment for the UK market and issue UKCA markings. Through our wider Applus+ network, we assist customers in obtaining UK market approvals, ensuring seamless compliance alongside EU requirements.
North American Certification
