Governments in Canada and the USA are responding to public concern for the environment, and to rising energy costs by establishing new regulations covering the energy efficiency of a wide variety of electrical and electronic products.
Manufacturers are required to design and build products that meet the new regulations and to provide customers and regulatory bodies with information about energy performance.
QPS is accredited to test and certify products for energy efficiency, and can help you meet the relevant Provincial and Federal regulations in this regard.
Products certified by QPS for energy efficiency will bear the QPS certification mark with the special "Energy Efficiency" identifier displayed adjacent to the mark.
