Expertise and Experience
The competence of an organisation is in the people that work within it. In this regard, we are proud to say that QPS has one of the highest technical and management competencies in the area of third-party conformity assessment.
At the technical level, the average number of years of hands-on experience of our engineering staff in testing and evaluation to national and international safety standards is over 15 years. We keep up to date on standards and conformity assessment matters by actively participating in national and international standards committees and working groups.
At the management level, our senior managers participate in national and international forums at the highest level. They chaired and continue to chair several important committees and working groups such as the Committee of Canadian Accredited Certification Bodies, the Committee of Canadian Accredited Field Evaluation/Special Inspection Bodies, the IECEx Working Group on acceptance of externally generated test data, just to name a few.
